KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa – Gallagher Security is set to boost the African security market with its upcoming Command the Future KwaZulu-Natal showcase, an immersive event with a focus on fostering education, sharing industry insights, and driving collaboration across the African security sector.
To be held the Premier Hotel Umhlanga on Thursday 19 February, Morne Grobler, Gallagher Security General Manager – Africa, says this full-day experience will give customers, consultants, and Channel Partners the opportunity to see Gallagher’s scalable solutions and new technology in action.
After the success of the inaugural Command the Future event in Cape Town, the Gallagher Security Africa team are excited to take the action to the KwaZulu-Natal region in 2026.
“Our second Command the Future event reiterates Gallagher’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the wider KwaZulu-Natal region and building market momentum through connection, insight, and hands-on engagement,” says Morne.
“Attendees will experience live, on-stage demonstrations of Gallagher’s technology integrated with leading solutions, alongside a strong lineup of expert keynote presentations.
“Technology partners including Cathexis, Gallagher Animal Management, IDEMIA, Kenai, Kidde, OPTEX, RunRite Electronics, TechRing by Zenitel, Traka, and Turnstar will bring some of our integrations to life, demonstrating how combined capabilities deliver unmatched security outcomes.
“We’re excited to bring Command the Future to KwaZulu-Natal, where the region’s security community can connect, learn, and experience the power of Gallagher’s ecosystem firsthand.”
Through interactive sessions and real-world case studies, attendees will gain insight into Gallagher’s products and solutions, Care Plan and support initiatives, as well as upcoming training opportunities in the region.
Morne says this will mark the third event the Gallagher Security Africa team has hosted in the KwaZulu-Natal region, and the team is looking forward to connecting with the wider security industry again.
“We are also boosting our presence in the region through strategic new hires, including Patrick McDowell who brings over 30 years of security industry experience to Gallagher, joining the team as Technical BDM based in Durban. His role focuses on growing the KwaZulu-Natal region while supporting colleagues in the Western and Eastern Cape,” says Morne.
“Our goal is to deliver value at every level, through capability, opportunity, and partnership.
“By showcasing innovation and integration in action, we’re reinforcing why Gallagher is the partner of choice for secure, scalable solutions.”
