Gallagher Security receives award for 'Exceptional Contribution to Intersec' at the 2024 event in Dubai

DUBAI – Gallagher Security is proud to announce they have been recognized for “Exceptional Contribution to Intersec” at this year’s 25th Intersec event held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from the 16th-18th January.

As the leading business event for safety, security, and fire protection, this year’s event bought together 45,000 security professionals from across the globe and featured products from more than 1100 exhibitors, a 30% increase on the previous year’s event.

Gallagher Security’s General Manager for India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA), Ian Meadows, says, “Intersec 2024 was another exceptional event and a great opportunity for the security industry to come together, connect, share ideas, and network. We enjoyed meeting with a large number of people who attended the Gallagher stand, and were proud to receive the award for ‘Exceptional Contribution to Intersec’.”

“These events are pivotal to the growth and development of the industry and serve as valuable engagement sessions among industry professionals, partners, and customers. The security industry evolves at a rapid pace, so the coming together and sharing of ideas, industry data, and experience is extremely valuable,” adds Ian.

The Gallagher Middle East team were proud to share with visitors more information about the Controller 7000 (C7000) launched in November 2023, the latest version of Command Centre, v9, and the inaugural Gallagher Security Industry Trends Report released in December 2023.

Gallagher Security Middle East General Manager, Sharbil Khalil, says visitors to the Gallagher stand particularly enjoyed the demonstrations of a wide range of Gallagher products and those of Gallagher’s major business partners.

“We had visitors from different government sectors and private organizations, as well as Consultants, End Users, existing Channel Partners, and a number of new companies. Visitors were happy to see major business partners of Gallagher on our stand, where there were actual demonstrations, including the Gallagher Perimeter Detection System which had a good impact on visitors due to its size, at almost three-meters high,” says Sharbil.

The three-day event included a Thought Leadership Pavilion which brought together industry subject matter experts to discuss current and emerging trends and products within the industry. Hosted by leading industry influencer and founder of the Access Control Executive Brief, Lee Odess, the Thought Leadership Pavilion created a hub of conversation and networking opportunities among attendees during the event.

The 2024 event was the largest in the event’s history, with 100% of exhibitor spaces selling out for the 25th anniversary, and featured a Security Leaders’ Summit, Safety and Health conference, Cyber conference, as well as a Live Attack Zone, Safety Walk, Innovators Arena, and Hack Arena.
