AUSTRALIA – Global Security manufacturer, Gallagher Security is proud to announce the appointment of David Issa as New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory (NSW/ACT) State Manager.
Issa brings 20 years of experience in business development, sales, and account management. Through leadership roles at Optus in key business units, he developed extensive expertise in partner channel management.
In what has been a significant year of growth for Gallagher in Australia, David’s appointment runs alongside the merger of the NSW and ACT regions, combining the strength of two states under one umbrella.
Gallagher Security’s Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific and India, Middle East, and Africa (APAC and IMEA), Craig Schutte says, “The merging of NSW and ACT under David’s leadership is a strategic move that aligns with our broader APAC/IMEA vision of streamlining operations and enhancing partner engagement. This integration not only strengthens our presence in a key market but also sets a benchmark for how we can unify teams to deliver consistent, scalable support across the region.”
National Sales Manager – Australia, Scott Johnstone adds, “With David stepping into the newly created NSW/ACT State Manager role, the focus for the year ahead will be on unifying the regions under a cohesive strategy that prioritises seamless partner experiences and targeted growth. By leveraging a stronger, more agile team, the NSW/ACT business will concentrate on creating new partner relationships, fostering existing relationships, scaling key client support, and driving market expansion with a sharper, more consistent approach.”
Committed to enhancing the partner and End User experience, Scott says the merging of the two states will enable Gallagher to scale their in-region teams more effectively, responding to growth opportunities as required.
He says, “For the wider Australian business, this move strengthens our position by demonstrating a commitment to operational excellence and partner-focused strategies. It sets a precedent for aligning resources strategically, enhancing our capacity to serve partners and clients across the country.”
While there will be no change to the NSW/ACT existing team structures, David’s appointment will enable the team to scale accordingly based on resource demand.
Scott concludes, “David’s appointment as NSW/ACT State Manager marks a pivotal step in unifying our efforts across the region, enabling us to deliver stronger partnerships, sharper focus, and to unlock more for our partners and clients alike.”
