Gallagher Security has a proud history of ensuring people are at the heart of everything we do. It’s a philosophy deeply rooted in the fabric of our company’s DNA, and one that also extends beyond the walls of our global headquarters and offices around the world, to the rugby pitch.
For nearly 20 years Gallagher has been proudly supporting two-time Super Rugby Pacific champions, the Gallagher Chiefs. As Principal Partner, Gallagher has been a solid pillar in the team’s history, but our passion, and support of rugby is evident across the Tasman too.
Since 2022, Gallagher has been supporting the Brighton Rugby Union Football Club’s (BRUFC) Brighton Tigers. South Australia’s BRUFC was established in 1950 and is an affiliate of Rugby Union South Australia.
Considered the largest, and most successful club in South Australia, it is home to more than 550 members, with registered players in the Men’s, Women’s, and Junior divisions each season. In 2022 the club’s Premier Grade team secured a record-breaking 35th Grand Final win, the most of any South Australian team over the past 73 years.
Over the years Gallagher has maintained its gold level sponsorship and additionally, contributed towards the purchase of branded post pads, while our enterprise security solution secures the club rooms at the club’s new multi-million-dollar facility. Later this year, during the BRUFC’s annual Club Dinner, Gallagher will also donate a 2024 Gallagher Chiefs Rugby jersey as part of a charity auction. The funds raised during the auction will go towards children’s charity, Kickstart for Kids.
Founded in 2011, Kickstart for Kids’ mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of their social or economic background has an equal chance at success. This includes, providing school breakfast and lunch programs, mentoring opportunities, and offering basic clothing and healthcare support to children in South Australian schools.
