Gallagher Security Command the Future-General Purpose

Cape Town, South Africa - Gallagher Security Africa’s inaugural Command the Future 2025 event has wrapped up with resounding success, reinforcing Gallagher’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and long-term growth in Africa’s rapidly evolving security industry.

With over 160 attendees, the event brought together industry leaders, Channel Partners, Consultants, and End Users from across the continent to explore the future of security through hands-on experiences and expert presentations.

Morne Grobler, Gallagher Security General Manager – Africa, says “Command the Future 2025 was a celebration of partnership and a powerful demonstration of what’s possible when global expertise meets local ambition.”

“It was a chance to demonstrate our deep commitment to Africa and the meaningful, long-term relationships we have in the wider security industry.

“As Africa continues to emerge as a key player in the global security market, Gallagher is proud to stand alongside its partners and customers, helping to shape a safer, more connected future.”

Gallagher’s latest security solutions were on full display at Command the Future, including the award-winning Command Centre v9.30, T-Series Reader, Mobile Access Reader, and Perimeter Security technologies.

“Attendees also explored more about OneLink, QuickSwitch, the Controller 7000 platform, Gallagher’s Care Plan, and experienced Augmented Reality Training. The experience showcased Gallagher’s smart, connected security systems and the full suite of solutions we have to solve customer problems across Africa,” says Morne.

The Gallagher team was joined by a strong lineup of global technology partners including Avigilon, Axis, Cathexis, Geutebrueck, Idemia, Kenai, Milestone, Suprema, Traka/Assa Abloy, Turnstar, and Techring with Zenitel, with each bringing their own expertise and innovation to the table.

Together, they showcased tailored solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities within the African security landscape.

“Keynote speakers including Helen Kruger (Teraco), Mr. Mooketsi Paya (DTCB), Carlo Klopper (FS-Systems), and Willem Scholtz (Scholtz Consulting) added valuable insight into the future of security in Africa, reinforcing the importance of local leadership and regional expertise,” says Morne.

“Partnership is at the heart of everything we do, and that has been the case for us since Gallagher began operating in Johannesburg in 1992.

“Command the Future 2025 was about more than showcasing technology. It was about building trust, sharing knowledge, and creating a platform for growth across the region.”
