C6000 (standard and PIV) goes offline with random traffic on any UDP port

Sending random data over UDP ports to any variant of the Controller 6000 (C6000) running older versions of the Linux Kernel could lead to an unexpected denial of service on the Controller.  Updating the Controller with the Firmware versions below will update the Kernel to 6.1, resolving this issue.

List of C6000 Firmware Versions containing the updated Linux Kernel:

  • vCR9.00.240215a (distributed in 9.00.1774 (MR2))
