AUSTRALIA – More than 50 attendees from across Australia turned out to leading security technology company Gallagher’s free National User Group event in Melbourne this week.
The two-day event held at Pullman Melbourne on the Park was an opportunity to hear about Gallagher’s latest security solutions, cutting-edge innovation, and the exciting new products and features set to be released in the future. It also provided a valuable networking opportunity and space for End Users to share a wealth of knowledge with each other.
Sponsored by ASSA ABLOY, IDEMIA, Milestone Systems, SALTO, Stratus, and Traka, the conference provided attendees with an in-depth overview of the diverse range of business problems that Gallagher, together with their Channel Partners, solve through the implementation of the company’s innovative security solutions.
Attendees were invited to hear from an exciting panel of guest speakers including James Radalj, Manager of Protective Security and Emergency Management at AusNet, Jeremy Batcheldor, Senior Security Consultant at Security Consulting Group, Simon Petie, Director at Escalate Consulting, Morgan Hai, Systems Advisor at Suncorp, and Bastien Treptel, former hacker and co-founder of CTRL Group, who delved into the world of hackers and highlighted the things people can do to stop them. Along with a range of Gallagher speakers.
James Radalj and Morgan Hai spoke of their security journeys and shared valuable insights into how they are implementing and utilising Gallager solutions to save both time and money and reduce overall risk to security.
Samantha Gibbons, Gallagher Security Marketing and Engagement Manager for APAC IMEA said, “we wanted to create a platform for our End Users to learn about Gallagher and connect with each other. The number of conversations, questions and learning was great to see, and the engagement of attendees and the wealth of knowledge shared was crucial to the success of the event.”
The event provided opportunities for engaging plenary and interactive breakout sessions along with in-depth discussion around the company’s latest offerings, those ear-marked for the future, and continued integration capabilities.
“Sharing knowledge and building lasting relationships are values that are important to us. This event is one of our best opportunities to strengthen our partnerships and for us to learn and discuss future development. We thank all attendees for their active contribution and dedication to making this year’s event a remarkable success,” says Samantha.
