STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – Global security manufacturer, Gallagher Security has taken home the Innovative Achievement Award category in the ID and Access Control category for its Controller 7000 (C7000) at the Detektor International Awards held in Stockholm, Sweden last night.
The award follows a string of wins for the C7000 since its release less than a year ago, including Outstanding New Security Product at New Zealand, and India and South Asia Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) and at the recent New Zealand Security Awards respectively.
Representing a new generation of Gallagher Security technology, the C7000 is capable of managing all localised access control, intruder alarms, perimeter security, business automation, and logic needs for organisations. With streamlined upgrades and advanced cybersecurity, it gives users an opportunity to leverage their hardware and firmware to build a platform designed to catapult their organisation into the future.
Gallagher Security Country Manager – Sweden, Hakan Bjorkman says, “This award acknowledges our continued commitment to innovative development and validates the choices customer are making in the Nordics. Delivering solutions that address the threats of today and those emerging reflects our stance of ensuring people are at the heart of everything we do.”
Utilising feedback directly from End Users, Channel Partners, and Consultants, Gallagher’s product team developed the C7000’s key features to make upgrading easier than ever, purposely designed with the same footprint, wiring, and ports as the Controller 6000, it provides the power to take advantage of the newest technologies and easily scale as a business grows.
Gallagher also recently announced the release of the C7000 Enhanced, taking the controller range to a total of three, including the award-winning C7000 Single Door released in February 2023.
Now, in their fourth year, the Detektor International Awards are designed to acknowledge manufacturers of products and services that stand up to the criteria of outstanding innovation and contribution to the advancement of the security industry, and are held at the Stockholm International Fair in conjunction with this year’s SKYDD Sweden Exhibition. SKYDD is the Nordic’s region’s largest exhibition for safety and security, firefighting, rescue work and personal protection.
