HAMILTON, NZ – What’s keeping security leaders up at night? Which technologies are gaining real traction? And where is the industry headed next?
Gallagher Security is once again inviting security professionals from around the world to help answer those questions through its annual global security industry research project, now open for contributions.
Bringing together insights from consultants, integrators, End Users, IT leaders, and Channel Partners, the research will inform Gallagher Security’s 2027 Security Industry Trends Report, a free, ungated resource designed to help the industry benchmark priorities, uncover emerging shifts, and plan more confidently for the future.
More than just a snapshot in time, the annual report has become a trusted industry resource used by organizations across the globe to guide planning, validate strategy, and better understand the forces shaping modern security.
“This project is built on a belief that’s deeply important to us at Gallagher Security, that when we share knowledge openly, the entire industry benefits,” says Mark Junge.
“Every year, we hear from professionals across multiple industries who tell us they use our Trends Report to help shape strategy, navigate change, and better understand where the market is heading. That’s what makes this initiative so valuable – it reflects the collective voice of the global security community.”
“This year, we’re encouraging even more people to contribute their insights and experiences. Every response helps strengthen the quality of the research and ensures the report continues to be a practical, relevant tool the industry can learn from together.”
The research project explores the evolving challenges, opportunities, and innovations shaping the security landscape, including changing organizational priorities, technology adoption, operational pressures, and the future role of security within modern businesses.
To make participation simpler, Gallagher has redesigned this years’ survey to be faster, clearer, and more mobile friendly. Contributors only need 10 minutes to share their perspective on the current state of the industry.
Insights gathered through the project will form the foundation of Gallagher Security’s 2027 Security Industry Trends Report to be released later this financial year as a freely available resource for the entire industry.
Security professionals across all sectors are encouraged to take part and contribute to global conversation shaping the future of security.
