Johannesberg, South Africa - Gallagher Security has boosted its presence across Africa, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable growth and partner success across the African market.

Morne Grobler, General Manager – Africa, says the recent promotion of Tiisetso Khanye, alongside the appointments of Tate Skordis, Sergio da Silva, and Bradley Steele, reflects Gallagher’s continued investment in building strong technical and commercial capability across the region.

“Africa represents a significant growth opportunity for Gallagher Security, and building capability within the team is critical to delivering long-term value to our End Users and Channel Partners. Each of these appointments strengthens our ability to support increasingly complex environments while continuing to deliver exceptional outcomes,” says Morne.

Tiisetso has been promoted to the newly created role of Technical Customer Success Manager.

“Tiisetso has built a strong reputation for his technical expertise and hands-on approach in supporting partners and customers in his previous role as Technical Account Manager,” says Morne.

“He has consistently demonstrated strong technical expertise with Gallagher solutions, combined with a practical, hands-on approach when working with both Channel Partners and End Users.”

Morne says the newly created position will focus on hands-on enablement, supporting complex deployments, and helping customers optimise system performance to realise maximum value.

Joining the Africa team, led by Nico Smit, Sales Manager for Rest of Africa, is Tate Skordis and Sergio da Silva, bringing the team to its largest size to date and strengthening support for Channel Partners and End Users across the region.

“Tate joins Gallagher as Technical Business Development Manager, bringing 27 years of experience in the systems integration space across sectors including parastatal, gaming, oil and gas, retail, mining, and banking.”

Morne says in this role, Tate will be supporting Channel Partners through training and enablement, building capability and stronger market connections to help End Users understand the full value of their Gallagher systems.

Sergio also joins the team with a deep understanding of regional market dynamics, and a background in partner development, market entry, and long-term relationship building.

“As Business Development Manager, Sergio will focus on identifying and developing strategic opportunities across key markets while strengthening Gallagher’s presence,” says Morne.

Finally, joining the South Africa team, led by Sales Manager Tarryn Fortune, Bradley Steele has been appointed Business Development Manager for KwaZulu-Natal, bringing more than 20 years of experience in corporate account management and technical sales across the security and digital software industries.

“Bradley has a strong background that includes workforce management solutions, biometric access control, cloud software, mobile credentials, and integrated security systems,” says Morne.

“I’m proud to welcome Tate, Sergio, and Bradley to the Gallagher Security team, particularly as the region continues to grow and support more End Users year-on-year.

“These appointments strengthen Gallagher’s capability across Africa, combining technical expertise, market insight, and strong partner engagement to support long-term, sustainable growth in the region.”
