Gallagher Security is thrilled to announce that the High Security Controller 7000 has been named Outstanding New Security Product at the 2025 Canada Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs).

Award-winning security manufacturer, Gallagher, is partnering with ASSA ABLOY, a global leader in door opening solutions, to showcase their latest technology at the New Zealand Aged Care Association & Retirement Villages Association Annual Summit 2022, taking place in Christchurch from August 22 – 25.
Gallagher, together with their technology partner, ASSA ABLOY, are helping meet the needs of Aged Care providers with the Gallagher Aperio integration, more specifically with the Aperio AU100 Lock featuring internal lever monitoring. Through this integration, if the resident does not leave the room within a configurable time, the facility is alerted through an alarm in Gallagher’s Command Centre, providing a timely reminder for staff to check on those residents who may need help.
“We’re proud to support aged care facilities to fulfil their duty of care towards their residents and reassure their family members that their loved ones are in safe hands,” says Brad Small, Regional Manager for New Zealand at Gallagher.
“Access control offers much more than the ability to simply open and close doors, and Gallagher’s integration with Aperio wireless locking devices is just one example of how aged care facilities can utilise technology to further ensure the safety of residents.”
Gallagher will also be showcasing Command Centre v8.70 – the latest release of their world-class security software. Command Centre v8.70 offers a range of features and enhancements to create operational efficiencies and improved site security for a safer tomorrow.
