Melbourne, Australia - Gallagher Security is celebrating a Product of the Year win following the 2026 Australian Security Industry Awards for Excellence.

Gallagher’s Date of Warranty Report, part of Gallagher’s Command Centre v9.30 release, was named Product of the Year – Cybersecurity Product, recognising a feature designed to give End Users and Channel Partners greater visibility of the hardware installed across their sites and help them proactively manage potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities.

The win came during a milestone evening for the Australian security industry, with 2026 marking the 30th anniversary of the Australian Security Industry Awards for Excellence. Gallagher Security was proud to support the evening as Lead Sponsor, as well as sponsoring the Outstanding Security Consultant category as part of the annual Outstanding Security Performance Awards.

Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA, says the recognition is particularly meaningful because the Date of Warranty Report was developed to address a practical challenge faced by End Users and Channel Partners.

“We’re incredibly proud to see the Date of Warranty Report recognised as Product of the Year – Cybersecurity Product,” says Craig.

“Cybersecurity is an ongoing priority for End Users, and having clear visibility of the hardware across a site is an important part of managing that risk.

“The Date of Warranty Report gives End Users and Channel Partners the information they need to understand what is installed, how current it is, and where upgrades may need to be planned.

“This award is a fantastic acknowledgement of the team behind the feature and our continued focus on delivering practical solutions that make it easier for our End Users to manage and protect their sites.”

The Date of Warranty Report enables End Users and Channel Partners to run a report across controllers and HBUS Devices at a site to check the age and warranty status of installed hardware.

Previously, gathering this information could require Channel Partners to manually check individual pieces of equipment across a site, creating a time and labour-intensive process. The Date of Warranty Report provides that lifecycle information through self-service reporting, giving End Users greater visibility and control over the health of their security system.

“As Lead Sponsor, Gallagher was proud to support this year’s awards and celebrate across the wider security industry,” says Craig.

“We were especially pleased to sponsor the Outstanding Security Consultant category once again, and our congratulations to Hayley Davidson van Loon for the well-earned achievement.

“Consultants play an incredibly important role across our industry, and it was fantastic to have the opportunity to recognise the expertise and contribution they bring to the security sector.”
