These awards reflect Gallagher Security’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and responsible business practices, further strengthening its valued partnership with Advanced Security, one of New Zealand’s largest providers of electronic security solutions for corporate and government sectors.
"The Advanced Group’s Annual Supplier Awards celebrate the exceptional partnerships and outstanding contributions that drive success across the security supply chain,” said Wayne Scott, General Manager Sales – New Zealand. “Being recognised with both Supplier of the Year and Sustainability awards is a true testament to the dedication of our team to deliver superior products and services while embedding sustainability throughout our operations.”
The awards ceremony took place in July, at the Rumera Club, marking the 11th year of these annual celebrations that highlight and honour the critical role suppliers play in delivering enhanced outcomes for customers nationwide.
The Supplier of the Year accolade is the result of a rigorous evaluation process led by Advanced Security’s nationwide team, assessing suppliers on product quality, shipping efficiency, technical support, ordering experience, lead management, market relationships, and repair services.
The Sustainability Award recognises suppliers demonstrating outstanding commitment to ethical and environmentally responsible business practices. Gallagher Security embeds sustainability throughout its operations, from designing energy-efficient products to enabling customers to reduce their environmental footprint through integrated security and building management solutions.
By focusing on lowering energy consumption, extending product lifespans, and using recyclable materials, Gallagher challenges the industry’s ‘throwaway culture’ and helps businesses achieve meaningful sustainability goals. For example, integrating security systems with building automation has helped organisations reduce energy use by up to 30%, cut plastic waste by eliminating physical access cards, and create healthier indoor environments through improved air quality monitoring.
Wayne added, “This award recognises our commitment to driving sustainability in both our products and the solutions we deliver to customers, proving that security and sustainability can go hand in hand.”
We’re honoured to be acknowledged for these efforts and remain dedicated to creating a more secure, sustainable future alongside our partners.
