TASMANIA, AUSTRALIA. Global security leader, Gallagher is now funded by Keystone Tasmania to further enhance support of their Channel Partners within the state, with more affordable training courses.
Keystone Tasmania is the state-wide industry training board which promotes training, and training pathways, in the building and construction industry.
Course funding via Keystone benefits local Channel Partners who can now take advantage of a special subsidy to reduce the cost of Gallagher’s sought after Access and Perimeter training courses.
The initiative was championed by Contact Group - one of Gallagher's valued Channel Partners who knew of Keystone’s funding platform, and suggested the idea to Danielle Mitchell, Training Manager for APAC and IMEA at Gallagher.
She says: “I loved the idea, as it provides another method for us to help our partners maintain skill levels and increase the accessibility of Gallagher training. We are so pleased to add this string to the bow of our training support, which includes the recently launched Virtual Classroom Training, and Train the Trainer initiatives.”
Dr Karin Mathison, Keystone Tasmania Chief Executive Officer, says it is the mission of the organisation to boost accessibility to training initiatives for those looking to develop their skills:
“Keystone’s obligation is to support people to pursue career opportunities by funding high-quality training and professional development programs. Gallagher’s training courses provide a level of industry accreditation that will help build a highly skilled, innovative, safe, and healthy building and construction workforce.”
Keystone Tasmania was established as the Tasmanian Building and Construction Industry Training Board in 1990 and is the go-to organisation facilitating training and workforce development in the Tasmanian building and construction industry. More than 800 courses are approved for funding, many up to 100% of course cost, via their website.
Gallagher’s in-person and online courses provide the skills and knowledge necessary to design, install, commission, and maintain Gallagher security solutions.
