Gallagher Security is thrilled to announce that the High Security Controller 7000 has been named Outstanding New Security Product at the 2025 Canada Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs).

Gallagher is pleased to announce that David Thean has been appointed General Manager for Gallagher’s security business in Asia.
After joining Gallagher in 2019 as Regional Manager for Southeast Asia, Thean has been involved in a number of key projects across the Southeast Asia region, gaining a deep understanding of Gallagher’s security solutions and Command Centre software.
Thean says: “I’m very excited to be leading our talented team here in Asia. They’ve proven time and again to be an incredibly high-performing team who are passionate about exceeding the expectations of our customers and partners, and I am looking forward to supporting them as we continue to grow.”
Craig Schutte, Gallagher’s Vice President for Asia Pacific and IMEA, says: “I’m delighted to see David take on the new challenge of the General Manager role for Gallagher in Asia. Since joining us two years ago, he has quickly become a respected member of our team and has demonstrated a strong understanding of Gallagher’s security solutions and the value they provide our customers. I have no doubt he will continue to drive our future growth throughout Asia.”
Following Thean’s appointment, Dezmond Huang has taken on the newly combined role of Operations Manager for Asia and Business Development Manager for Southeast Asia.
