Gallagher Registration Policy
Registration policy
Registrations for training must be completed online via the Gallagher Security Hub Website. To access the registration page you require a Security Hub log in. Users with log ins are able to register on behalf of other trainees.
Registrations for Technician level training courses must be accompanied by a recent ID style photo with the following requirements:
Photo requirements:
- No caps, hats, or inappropriate eyewear (sunglasses) should be worn
- JPEG | JPG | PNG file format
- 4MB maximum size
- 900 pixels minimum width
- 1200 pixels minimum height
Registrations for courses that are chargeable require a Purchase Order (PO) number to be supplied during the registration. Ensure the order number is entered on the registration form and send a copy of your PO form to your regional training team.
Places for Classroom and Virtual Classroom training are offered on a first come first served basis and are not allocated until such time as the completed registration documentation and purchase order have been received. If you cannot provide this documentation your places are not confirmed and may be allocated to another organization without notification. We cannot hold tentative interest for training as places are often booked on-line. Online courses do not have maximum number of course participants and are always available.
Gallagher Reserves the right to remove trainees from classes due to disruptive and/or disrespectful behavior that impacts on other trainees learning experience or inhibits the trainer from being able to effectively delivery training.

Please refer to the Data Collection Notice in regards to what Personal Data collected when registering for Online Training, and how it is used by Gallagher. Click here to review Gallagher’s Privacy policy which further outlines how Gallagher uses your personal information for technical support and training services.
By accepting the Gallagher Training Privacy Policy you also acknowledge that you understand and accept this Privacy and Data Use policy.
If you do not agree to the terms and conditions herein, please immediately discontinue use of the Gallagher Online Training Portal.
Please be aware that the photograph supplied by students during the registration process will be matched against photos captured during the Certification testing process using Amazon Rekognition software. This is to verify online learners completing the Certification or Re-Certification are as registered. Amazon Rekognition photos taken during certification will be stored for a maximum of eight weeks on the Gallagher Cloud for audit purposes. These photos will be deleted upon expiry of that period.
The photo you supply during the registration process will be stored on Gallagher’s Channel Partner CRM database to assist with the identification of certified and qualified technicians. It will also appear on your Gallagher Certified Technician ID card should you become successfully certified. This Data is not shared with any other third parties.

Classroom training and certification terms and conditions
Attending the course
We recommend that you do not make arrangements in regards to travel, accommodation, etc, until you receive final course confirmation. This should be approximately 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the course.
If training equipment or computers are damaged or misplaced by an attendee, the cost of replacement or repair will be charged to the purchase order number supplied by the Channel Partner.
If changes are made to computer operating system or system files, the system rebuild will be charged to the purchase order number supplied by the Channel Partner at a standard hourly rate.
Certification
Upon successful course completion, technicians will gain certification for a period of 2 years. Re-certification courses are available when existing certification is due to expire.
Certification of technicians is at Gallagher's sole discretion, if skills gained during training are lost due to inactivity, certification may be withdrawn.Gallagher reserve the right to alter certification requirements at any time in order to maintain course relevance.
Payment and cancellation policy
Invoices for attending the course are issued upon receipt of registration (prior to attending the course)

Please note this cancellation policy applies to all bookings received regardless of whether a purchase order has been supplied.
Scheduled Gallagher Courses
You may cancel a seat in a scheduled course up to 3 days prior to the course commencing. From 3 days prior to the course commencement date to the completion date a 50% cancellation fee applies.
Should a course fail to attract a minimum number of participants, we reserve the right to cancel the course.
Tailored or Private Classroom Training
We require no less than 2 weeks’ notice prior to the commencement date of the course of cancellation or transfer to another course, otherwise a 100% cancellation fee applies.
On commencement of the course a 100% cancellation fee applies for any attendees that were booked but did not attend.

Virtual classroom training and certification terms and conditions
Attending the course
Students attend Virtual Classroom courses by participating in a Microsoft Teams call with other students and a Gallagher Security Trainer, and by making use of the Virtual Classroom training environment. The below PC specifications are required for Virtual Classroom:
- Web cam enabled - attendees are required to have a web cam enabled for the duration of the course
- Wired (recommended) connection to a stable network, WiFi is acceptable where a wired connection is not available
- 2Mbps/2Mbps internet connection speed at all times (per machine participating)
- No port blocking or firewall rules that may cause connection issues
- At least 2 screens/monitors (3 screens recommended for optimal experience)
- Quiet environment conducive to training and study (not general office space)
- Appropriate work/desk space
- Appropriate audio and microphone set up to participate in the class
Failure to adhere to the above specifications may result in the attendee being excused from the course and required to re-register for training at a later date. A new registration and fee will be required to enable access to any further virtual classroom training.
Allow ten minutes in the 24 hours prior to training to test the connection with one of our trainers.
Please reach out to the facilitator once a connection test is possible.

Online Training and Certification Terms and Conditions
Online training and certification terms and conditions
Attending the course
Students attend Online Training courses by logging in to the Security Portal for Online Training (SPOT). Training is completed by a series of self-guided learning modules and an assessment making use of the online training environment. Upon acceptance students will receive an email containing their login details, and other relevant course instructions.
The below PC specifications are required for Online Training:
- Wired (recommended) connection to stable network, WiFi is acceptable where a wired connection in not available
- 2Mbps/2Mbps internet connection speed at all times (per machine participating)
- No port blocking or firewall rules that may cause connection issues
- At least 2 screens/monitors
- Quiet environment conducive to training and study (not general office space)
- Appropriate work/desk space
- Web cam enabled - attendees are required to have a web cam enabled for the duration of the course
- Once approved to attend the course, trainees are granted 12 weeks in which to complete the courses before it expires
Certification
Upon successful course completion, technicians will gain certification for a period of 1 year. Re-certification courses are available when existing certification is due to expire.

Online training and certification payment and cancellation policy
Courses are invoiced immediately once approved and access is granted to the online training course. Access to online courses will be valid for 12 weeks from date of registration.
Trainees are responsible for completing the course in the allocated timeframe, should the trainee not complete the course in time an additional course fee will be applied to reissue the course. Once access to an Online course has been issued the course is not able to be cancelled and invoices are non-refundable.
