CANTON, GA — Gallagher Security’s presence at GSX 2025 made one thing clear: connection is everything. Over three packed days, their presence was defined by conversation and engagement, which Matt Butts, Executive Vice President – the Americas, says reinforces Gallagher's belief that showing up authentically is exactly what today’s market values.
“We’re at our best when we’re connecting with end customers, partners, and peers,” he explains. “The energy we felt at GSX tells us that we’re making the right decisions as an organization and that listening with intent, designing for real-world needs, and turning feedback into action are how we build solutions that truly make a difference.”
Among the most talked-about solutions was QuickSwitch, which caught the eye of security professionals ready to modernize without the headache of a full system overhaul. Designed to simplify migration, it gives organizations a smarter path forward to upgrade access control without the expense, complexity, or downtime that usually comes with major change.
“QuickSwitch is a new kind of upgrade,” says Matt. “It keeps systems online, trims costs, and turns what used to be a disruptive capital project into a planned, manageable improvement. Research from our upcoming 2026 Trends Report tells us that upgrades are the top security priority for businesses, but budgets often stand in the way. QuickSwitch circumvents these obstacles and helps organizations modernize within business constraints.”
Another defining part of Gallagher’s GSX presence was their Security Meets Solidarity initiative supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and raising awareness of women’s health in security. Melissa Vidakovic, Director of Marketing – the Americas, says the campaign resonated deeply at the event.
“Our Security Meets Solidarity initiative really struck a chord with attendees,” she says. “From the t-shirts on the stand to the stories people shared, it was a memorable feature of our booth this year. In fact, we had several meaningful interactions with people outside our typical Gallagher network who told us that we show up differently - both visually and where it matters most – because of initiatives like this. For me, that feedback was the highlight of our show because it means our commitment to people and purpose is being clearly felt throughout the industry.”
Donations to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation remain open through October 15.

Matt says the key takeaway from GSX is that the security industry isn’t just about technology – it's about people.
“This year’s GSX captured everything Gallagher stands for: innovation, integrity, and genuine connection,” he says. “We left New Orleans inspired by the people we met, the stories we heard, and the impact we created together. That’s the kind of momentum that carries well beyond the show floor.”
