Gallagher Security tees up its 4th Annual Charity Golf Day in support of Bravehearts
Gallagher Security is gearing up for its annual Charity Golf Day, taking place on Thursday 30 April at the RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast.

Gallagher has today been named as a finalist in the 2019 American Homeland Security Awards. The ‘ASTORS’, as the awards are commonly called, recognize the most cutting-edge, and forward-thinking security solutions that enter the U.S. market each year. Gallagher is nominated in the Best Cyber Security Risk Management category for their incredibly innovative Security Health Check tool.
Gallagher’s Security Health Check is an industry-first software utility which enables customers to run an automated check on their Gallagher Command Centre security system at any time. It identifies system vulnerabilities, assesses the severity of the threat, and provides specific recommendations to mitigate the risk and ensure correct system configuration. Security Health Check is free of charge to all Gallagher licensed customers.
“Protecting people and places is at the heart of what we do” says Mark Junge, Global General Manager of Gallagher’s security business. “To do that, we have to recognize the very real threat of cyber-attack that exists today and do everything we can to help our customers identify their vulnerabilities and know how to mitigate them.”
Released in June this year, Security Health Check won the U.S. Security Today New Product of the Year award, was given Honorable Mention at the U.S. Security Industry Association New Product Showcase, and was named as a finalist in the Innovative Security Product of the Year category at the Intersec Awards in the Middle East.
Winners will be announced at the AST 2019 ‘ASTORS’ Award Presentation Luncheon in New York City on 20 November.
