Canberra, Australia - Gallagher Security is celebrating an extended winning streak with the announcement that the High Security Controller 7000 (High Sec C7000) has secured another accolade – winning the Electronic Security Product Award 2025 at the inaugural ASIS Australian Capital Territory (ASIS ACT) Gala Dinner in Canberra last month.
Karl Harris, National High Security and Federal Manager, says the team were thrilled to take home another win for the High Sec C7000.
“We’re honoured to receive this award. It reflects our global team’s dedication to developing solutions that meet today’s challenges while preparing for tomorrow’s security needs,” says Karl.
Launched to deliver uncompromising protection for high-assurance environments, the High Sec C7000 is trusted by government agencies and critical infrastructure organisations worldwide.
Already in use across several high-security sites, the High Sec C7000 provides a future-ready solution that safeguards people, assets, and information.
“Gallagher solutions like the High Sec C7000 are designed from inception to be as cyber secure as possible. Our solutions are manufactured to meet changing threats at a software and physical level, building in robust cyber security at every stage,” says Karl.
Karl says Secom Technical Services, one of Gallagher’s long-standing Channel Partners, also had an outstanding night at the awards, taking home multiple honours for their exceptional work with Gallagher solutions.
“They won both the Security Project under $500K and over $500K categories, and in a surprise announcement, Solomon Buggee CTO of Secom was named Technical Professional of the Year. Finally, the National Service & Maintenance Manager of Secom Brody O’Brien received the Security Professional of the Year award.”
In their speeches, Solomon and Brody both highlighted the importance of their teams and partnerships, stating that these awards recognise the collective effort behind their success - noting that without strong alignment, such achievements would not have been possible.
“Secom’s achievements highlight the leadership and expertise both Secom and Gallagher bring to the industry, which is something we can all take pride in,” says Karl.
Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA, is thrilled to celebrate another win for the High Sec C7000 on Australian soil.
“We’re proud to deliver government-approved high-security solutions like the High Sec C7000 for the world’s most sensitive and high-risk sites,” says Craig.
“Awards like these also give us a fantastic opportunity to catch up with our network and celebrate the many successes found across our industry.”
Hosted by ASIS ACT, the 2025 event marked the first time recognition awards were presented in conjunction with the annual Security and Government Expo, celebrating innovation and excellence across the security industry.
