HONG KONG – Award-winning, global security leader, Gallagher Security, prepares for growth in the Chinese market by naming Jin Hui as Regional Manager for China and North Asia.
Jin first joined the Gallagher team as a Business Development Manager back in 2015, and for the past five years has served as Regional Manager for North Asia, overseeing Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. In a demonstration of Gallagher’s commitment to growth, Jin is expanding his regional responsibilities to cover all of China, a move he sees as full of potential.
“Security trends in China are different compared to other North Asian countries,” Jin explains. “I see it as an opportunity to be more creative in how we position Gallagher’s solutions and collaborate with the local market.”
One way Jin envisions delivering on that opportunity is to expand Gallagher’s Channel Partner network in China. “I’m most excited about bringing on new Gallagher-Certified Channel Partners,” he says. “They have the most on-the-ground knowledge of the market, and by combing that with Gallagher’s exceptional solutions and our customer-centric philosophy, I believe we can turn potential into real benefits for businesses in the region.”
General Manager for Asia, David Thean, cites Jin’s technical expertise and experience as key qualities making him the perfect fit for the expanded role:
“Jin knows Gallagher’s solutions inside and out and has been an essential part of our team since joining in 2015, playing a crucial role in developing growth in the Hong Kong and North Asia region. Jin’s track record in Hong Kong makes him well suited to drive our business forward in China. We have every confidence in his ability to develop the China market effectively and leveraging the support from our Hong Kong based team to create a more unified and robust approach to our business in the region.”
Jin officially stepped into his new role in January 2024. To learn more about Jin’s plans for growth in China, contact him at Jin.Hui@gallagher.com.
