AUSTRALIA – Global Security manufacturer, Gallagher Security is proud to announce the internal promotion of Dean Matheson to the role of National Technical Account Manager for Australia.
The promotion comes off the back of a significant period of continued growth for Gallagher across Australia and will enable Dean to pursue more opportunities to assist key clients and complex integrations across the Australian market.
No stranger to promotion, Dean was promoted to the position of Senior Technical Account Manager in May 2023 after 18 years as Technical Account Manager – Victoria and Tasmania.
His contribution and the pivotal role he played in the success of both the Australia and wider regions is acknowledged with this recent promotion. As National Technical Account Manager, he will be the main conduit for all Gallagher’s technical resources in Australia to utilise.
Of his new role Dean says, “I am excited to embark on this next chapter of my Gallagher journey, to continue achieving great things with the Australian team, and deliver world class systems and support for our partners and customers.”
Dean will report to Gallagher Security’s Technical Director – Asia Pacific and India, Middle East and Africa (APAC and IMEA), Mike Margrain, who is responsible for steering, supporting, and coaching the technical teams across the APAC and IMEA regions.
Further acknowledging the regional growth and subsequent responsibilities within roles, Mike’s title has changed from Regional Technical Manager – APAC and IMEA to Technical Director – APAC and IMEA, reflecting the scope and responsibilities of his position.
Gallagher Security’s Executive Vice President – APAC and IMEA, Craig Schutte says, “Dean will be instrumental in driving Gallagher’s technical vision and competitive edge across Australia. By engaging with industry stakeholders, providing training and support to the technical team, and collaborating with global counterparts, he will assist the wider Australia team to achieve its strategic goals and foster continued growth in the region.
