Since 2022, Gallagher Security Australia has proudly partnered with Bravehearts, a child protection organisation dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse in Australia, a crime experienced by one in four Australians.
This partnership is one of the most meaningful ways we contribute to creating safer futures for children across Australia.
Bravehearts has been operating in Australia for over 29 years. They provide vital support, education, and advocacy for children and families affected by sexual abuse, a crime that tragically impacts one in four Australian children.
This critical work includes specialist counselling, redress support, education, and training programs for both children and adults, and advocacy for victim survivors.
Their work is courageous, compassionate, and much needed - we’re proud to stand beside them.
How we support Bravehearts
Gallagher Security’s purpose is to protect what matters most, so it was a unanimous decision to partner with Bravehearts who support vulnerable young people in our communities.
While Gallagher brings expertise in physical security to keep people and assets safe, Bravehearts leads the way in child protection and advocacy. Together, we’ve built a partnership that goes beyond financial support, it’s about long-term impact.
One of the most impactful outcomes of this partnership to date is our annual Charity Golf Day, held in Queensland and the funds raised as a result.
What started in 2023 as a small fundraising initiative has grown into a major industry event, bringing together over 150 participants in 2026, including Channel Partners, End Users, Technology Partners, and Consultants from across Australia’s security industry.
With the generous support of sponsors like ADT, Convergint, Hanwha Vision, Optic Security Group, PMT Security Systems, Salto Systems, Seadan Security and Electronics, Secom Technical Services, Traka, and Travel Experts, this year’s event exceeded all previous benchmarks, marking Gallagher’s most successful Charity Golf Day to date. We set a record for funds raised, at an incredible AUD $90,000, all in support of Bravehearts’ inspiring mission.
For the second year in a row, we were delighted to host the largest fundraising event held by one of Bravehearts’ partners since the organisation was established over 29 years ago.
But our support doesn’t stop there.
In 2023, we donated Command Centre software and associated hardware to Bravehearts HQ to upgrade their security system, in partnership with our Channel Partner Securcom, who installed the system and continue to provide ongoing maintenance.
Ensuring the safety of both the building and its people is a top priority for Bravehearts. The team is engaged in sensitive work that can present unique security challenges.
Gallagher is also a proud supporter of the Bravehearts Ball, an annual fundraiser to support Bravehearts’ work in the community.
We have sponsored the Ball since 2022, and the APAC & IMEA Leadership, Australia team, and Head Office Executive Team were pleased to attend the 2026 Ball and support it as a Platinum Partner.
While our partnership with Bravehearts only began in 2022, we’ve cherished how quickly the wider security industry have joined us in supporting Bravehearts. Channel Partners like ADT generously attended this year’s Ball too.
Supporting Bravehearts’ critical work is something we remain firmly committed to, and it’s inspiring to see our community come together for such an important cause.
