AUSTRALIA – Global security manufacturer, Gallagher Security is proud to announce the appointment of Tim Clayton to the role of Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) South Australia and Northern Territory (SA/NT).
Tim says, “What I’m looking forward to most is the people - Gallagher staff and especially our customers and Channel Partners. Listening to what they have to say and establishing strong, high value relationships with them.”
Stepping into the role on 1 April, Tim’s appointment to this newly created position is the culmination of a successful re-imagining of the team structure following the internal promotion of George Dunleavy to Sales Manager SA/NT in January. Tim brings the SA/NT resources up to full capacity, enabling the team to move forward with the regional goals and strategies in place for 2024.
George says, “Throughout this recruitment process we have been focused on finding the best candidate for the role. Someone that understands the idiosyncrasies of the local market and how to maximise opportunities in a highly competitive environment. Tim’s combination of an immensely personable manner, commitment to high quality customer service, and drive to deliver the best possible outcomes for his clients make him an ideal fit. We’re extremely excited to have him on board.”
Tim brings to the role an outstanding reputation and wealth of knowledge of, and connections to, the South Australian business community. He has spent the past 10 years building a strong client base and securing contracts and high value recurrent sales with major companies.
“Having Tim on board enables us to ensure we’re meeting the demands and expectations that new projects bring, whilst proactively targeting future opportunities and prospective clients without detriment to the excellence in customer service and Channel Partner engagement that the SA/NT team has become known for,” says George.
With increasing demand for Gallagher’s solutions across the region, Tim’s appointment is about acknowledging and capitalising on the growth potential for SA/NT.
George says the position drew a high volume of applicants, highlighting the quality of the appointment and the attractiveness of the role.
Gallagher Security’s Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific and India, Middle East, and Africa (APAC and IMEA), Craig Schutte says, “Tim stood out in a shortlist of impressive and competitive candidates due to his breadth of experience and business acumen. We are excited to welcome him on board and know he will be an asset to Gallagher’s strong, high performing SA/NT team.”
With several major projects currently in progress within the region, and more on the horizon, George says Tim’s appointment will enable the team to push ahead with ‘renewed energy and a broader perspective’.
