In the United Kingdom, the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) works alongside the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) to help reduce vulnerability to terrorism and other threats. CPNI is the lead authority for physical security while NCSC leads on all things cyber. Together, they work with manufacturers to develop more secure, robust, and cyber-assured products that help protect corporate data and assets. The Cyber Assurance of Physical Security Systems Standard (CAPSS) has been jointly written by NCSC and CPNI leveraging the expertise of both technical authorities and is part of a critical programme within CPNI. You can find out more about the CAPSS standard on the CPNI website here and view our CAPSS approved CSE Listing here.
Gallagher is compliant to the UK CAPSS cyber security and CPNI Tokens and Readers standards

Gallagher's Electronic Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (E-PIDS) is CPNI approved and listed in the Catalogue for Security Equipment (CSE) within the Detection and Tracking Systems section. The CSE is designed to help organizations choose appropriate physical security equipment to protect the assets for which they are responsible. You can view Gallagher’s E-PIDS CSE Listing for Detection and Tracking Systems here. Gallagher is also listed in the Access Control Equipment and CAPSS Approved categories too.
Four variations of Gallagher's electric fence were tested, and all passed the CPNI's stringent alarm threshold and full attack testing in external environments over an 8-month period.
