In the United Kingdom, the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) works alongside the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) to help reduce vulnerability to terrorism and other threats. CPNI is the lead authority for physical security while NCSC leads on all things cyber. Together, they work with manufacturers to develop more secure, robust, and cyber-assured products that help protect corporate data and assets. The Cyber Assurance of Physical Security Systems Standard (CAPSS) has been jointly written by NCSC and CPNI leveraging the expertise of both technical authorities and is part of a critical programme within CPNI. You can find out more about the CAPSS standard on the CPNI website here and view our CAPSS approved CSE Listing here.
