Federal Business Development Manager, Brandy Sloan, is Gallagher security's latest employee to receive the GSA-approved Smart Card Alliance Certified System Engineer ICAM PACS (CSEIP) certification. Brandy is one of less than 60 CSEIPs nationally.
Brandy joins colleague Blake Smith, Federal Technical Account Manager, Gallaghers first CSEIP certified engineer, in demonstrating Gallaghers subject matter expertise with the Federal PACS requirements.
This accreditation highlights Gallaghers continued investment into the US Federal market says Brandy. Its an exceptional program arming integrators with the knowledge they need to successfully install and configure an e-PACS to perform strong authentication of individuals accessing our Federal facilities. As we have seen in recent years, access control systems are becoming more of an IT system, necessitating a shift in the way integrators are trained and the skill sets they must possess.
This GSA-approved program helps to ensure that procurements of approved e-PACS for GSA managed facilities are installed, configured, and tested properly. GSA requires that integrators bidding on GSA PACS solicitations maintain CSEIP engineers on staff to be considered eligible for contract award.
The CSEIP program provides advanced training for system engineers on how to configure e -PACS to align with government-wide specifications. It includes best practices and learning objectives for managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Biometrics, Smart Card Credentials, and trusted e-PACS.
