Introducing Offline Mode

Offline Mode (previously referred to as Local Control) allows you to control your SMB system using Bluetooth if it is unable to connect to the internet, or our infrastructure.

Once enabled, you can arm & disarm the alarm and gain access to your site as you normally would.

Enabling Offline Mode

If your SMB system has no internet connection, or cannot connect to the Gallagher infrastructure, the SMB app will automatically prompt you to enter Offline Mode. Simply select the Connect with Bluetooth option to do so.

Alternatively, you can put your system into Offline Mode should you wish to do so:

  1. Select the User Options menu near the top left of the SMB app.
  2. Choose User Settings, and select Switch to Offline Mode.
  3. Press Connect with Bluetooth to enable Offline Mode.

Note: To enable Offline Mode, you must be present at your site and near a Gallagher reader. SMB Key Tags will still function normally in Offline Mode.

New way of filtering your team

If you have multiple of your business sites using Gallagher SMB, you can now filter your team by who has access to each site.

Simply select the Filter option located near the top right of the Team screen and choose the site you want to filter by.

New way of filtering your history log

The History log located under Activity can now be filtered by three pre-determined time periods - 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. Alternatively, you can select custom to specify your own date to filter by.

Note: The History log will now filter by the last 24 hours by default.
