Grant a user temporary access to your site

When creating a new user in the SMB app, you can now assign them a start date and end date in the Privileges screen. They will only be able to enter your site during this period, after which their access will be revoked.

This is useful for temporary staff, or short-term visitors.

Note: To add an end date to existing user, you can re-open the Privileges screen by tapping on them in Team and selecting the Privileges option.


Assigning temporary access

Control the days and hours your site is accessible.

User Schedules allow you to set the days of the week, and the time of the day your site is accessible. These schedules can be assigned to a particular user/s, limiting access. This is useful in scenarios such as a cleaner who only visits your site at night, or a courier who drops packages off early in the morning.

How to create a User Schedule:

  1. Open Team, and select the clock icon located near the top right of the app.
  2. In the Create User Schedule screen, name the schedule, toggle the days you want the site accessible and enter a time period for those days.
  3. Select Save to save the User Schedule.

How to assign a User Schedule:

  1. Open Team, select the user you want to assign a User Schedule to, and tap Privileges.
  2. From the Schedule dropdown menu, select the User Schedule you created.
  3. Select Save. The user's access will now be limited to the schedule selected.
